Maria Memon has joined as Senior Content Manager and Anchorperson, BOL News.
Maria Memon has had a highly illustrious career in Pakistan's journalism industry. After a successful stint as a reporter, she conducted a highly popular show on Geo News, Lahore, Mere Mutabiq, with the likes of Hasan Nisar and Sohail Waraich. She later began news anchoring from Karachi. Maria Memon is one of the few female broadcast journalists in Pakistan who have risen from the ranks of field reporting to dominate Pakistan’s prime time television screens as news anchors. She has also made a 13-episode documentary titled Muslims in America in which she interviewed Muslim people living in the U.S. An established field reporter, she has covered several important events. In addition, she has attended several trainings and workshops including CNN Journalism Fellowship at CNN Headquarters, Atlanta, where she was mentored by American media tycoon, Ted Turner.
